The record

4masks — record page · release · eleven tracks:

Silver 44 · Paint Exchange · Moon Factory · Proximity · August · Barlows · Drowsy Maggie · Swords to Ploughshares · Masks · Victory · Cicada Song

Where each line came from

  • Music by Justin Holmes, instrumental — music_by and instrumental: true in august.yaml, arthel song data.
  • Studio, date, engineer, who played what — the Studio cut block already on Song:August, written by HearThatWhistleBlow from the session data. Not hand-edited, there or here.
  • Track number and running order — the release page's tracks: list.
  • The cover — File:four-masks-temp.png, the only image on 4masks. It is named "temp" and probably is.

What a real version still needs

  • Nothing links a track to its song page. The release carries a CID and a title, not which page is about the work. Matching on title breaks on this very record: track 6 is "Barlows", and the wiki has both Song:Barlow's Jig and Song:Barlows Jig.
  • Nothing links a record to its cover. No art field on the release. Rabbithole finds this image by walking backwards from the release to the page that links to it — which works, and rests on a sentence of prose.

Both are the same missing edge the Release-to-Studio-Cut item has been parked on.

Plain-ASCII title for Template:Song page mock — August. The original has an em dash in it, which survives being typed into a browser only if nothing between here and there decides to rewrite it — and a wiki URL that does not resolve renders as a bare title with no content under it, which is exactly what Skyler saw. Link to this one.
