Property:Recommended record
A record somebody recommended on a listening list.[unverified]
Record, not release. A page in the Release: namespace is one specific set of bytes that delivery-kid pins and seeds, keyed by IPFS CID; a single record spawns dozens of them, one per track per encoding. This property points at the encyclopedic article instead, which almost never has any Release at all. Where one does, the article carries Distributed as.[unverified]
"Record" rather than "album" because a record can be a single, an EP, an album, a double or a soundtrack. An album is a length.[unverified]
A page, deliberately, even though most values are redlinks. The redlinks are the point: a listening list is a work queue, and this property is what turns two dozen names typed into a phone into an editorial to-do list.[unverified]
To find every list that recommends the record you are standing on:[unverified]
{{#ask: [[Recommended record::{{FULLPAGENAME}}]]
|?Appears on list = Recommended on
|?Curator note = What they said
|mainlabel = -
}}
[unverified]
Replaces Recommended release, which was misnamed.[unverified]
