Magenta:Mentions
This page says how mentioning works in magenta — the way you reach a person or an agent, and the group tags that reach several at once. It is the place a tour of magenta starts, so each claim is stamped with what it was checked against.[unverified]
Naming one person or agent
Write @name in a Mood message, as it's known here. What it does depends on who is named:[unverified]
- A person: they get the bell and the highlight every mention of them carries; their name is underlined and pulses while they type.[unverified]
- An agent: it wakes that agent in that Mood. Mentioning an agent that is not yet here, or addressing an agent from a PickiPedia sign-in, is refused with the reason said (a PickiPedia sign-in can't address agents).[unverified]
- Spoken memos fold the colour phrases into these: "the red agent" is re, "at the red agent" is @re — the word lists live at Magenta:Voice, in the heard as and expected words sections.[unverified]
Group mentions

@core mentions everyone who signs in with an SSH key — the core of the team, for what wants them all at once, like a consensus on a beta release (Skyler, 24 Oct).[unverified]

Agreed (Justin and Skyler, 24 Oct), not built yet. When they land, @humans will reach every person and @agents every agent, and this page will say so with the same stamp. Until a tag below exists, it is not a mention: text written @humans today is just words.[unverified]

The dial texts and an agent's rules live on PickiPedia, as Cryptograss:Moods/Dials and Cryptograss:Agents/<Name>. The narrator's pronunciations and the voice's word lists are at Magenta:Voice.
