Words magenta's page shows to people, changeable here without a deploy (magenta services/interface_words.py; Justin, 27 Oct 2026). Only a trusted editor's revision counts, as on Magenta:Voice; magenta reads it at most every ten minutes. One line per text, as * key: text. A key left out keeps magenta's own words. {mood}, {parent}, {agent} and {agents} are filled in where a key has them. In magenta, resting the mouse on one of these texts names its key here. The ** lines say where each is shown, and magenta doesn't read them.[unverified]
What the emergents are told is elsewhere, at Cryptograss:Moods/Dials.
Opening a Mood or a thread

- thread-of: A thread of {mood}, with its settings and (until it has its own) its instructions:
- shown: above the two choices, when you press ⑂ thread at the top of a Mood; {mood} is that Mood[unverified]
- fork-label: Fork
- shown: the first choice's name, in bold[unverified]
- fork: its emergents go on from where they are there, remembering all of it
- shown: after "Fork:"[unverified]

Closing a thread

[unverified]
- close-ask: Have {agent} incorporate it into {parent}: one full account there of what was settled here, and what is still open[unverified]
- shown: beside the checkbox; {agent} is magent, {parent} the Mood the thread came from. Ticked, closing posts "/incorporate #thread" there[unverified]
- close-note: Anything to be sure of (optional)[unverified]
- shown: inside the empty note box; what's typed there rides along with the /incorporate[unverified]
- close-button: Close the thread
- shown: the button that closes it[unverified]
