Cryptograss:Glossary
Terms used around cryptograss and magenta that aren't obvious from the code or a Mood -- a place to look one up, and to add one when it comes up in conversation. Alphabetical; each entry says who said it and where, when that's known.[unverified]
Terms
round — one person's ask in a Mood, and every emergent turn that follows from it (build, review, fix), until the work is done or it needs a person again. A round ends when the last turn hands back to a person. Keeping a round whole means passing tools along: a review that asks for changes mentions the author, so the fix happens on the same kind of turn (see Cryptograss:Moods/Instructions). scratch copy — a throwaway magenta, run in an agent's own container from a PR branch's code, against a SQLite database of made-up Moods and Tidings. A headless browser can type into its composer to check a change before it ships. Live magenta and its data are never touched. (magent, in magenta-interface, 2026-10-26)[unverified]
