You're building - doing the thing.

And it's euphoria while it's novel; your fanbase swells quickly, your offering gets better and tighter. And you're sure it's taking off. Everyone around you is feeding you the vibe.

But then it plateaus. The need for the hard work sets in - hard work that needs doing in relative quiet. And nobody notices and nobody cares. And you wonder if you've just been forgotten; you can't help but notice everybody (perhaps including you) is already psyched about the new thing.

But you gotta work through it. Keep pushing on things while nobody is clicking like and subscribe, while nobody is riding the rail, while nobody is singing along.

Almost everybody who is making the things you love to see and hear is doing it because they worked through the lull.
