The Nancy and David Bilheimer Capitol Theatre (formerly known as the Capitol Theatre and Royalty Theatre) is a historic theater in downtown Clearwater, Florida.

About[edit]

Constructed in 1921, it is one of Florida's oldest operating theaters. Part of the Richard B. Baumgardner Center for the Performing Arts, it is owned by the City of Clearwater and managed by Ruth Eckerd Hall.

In 2019, the theater underwent a massive expansion including expanded seating and lobby spaces, six private loge boxes, an outdoor balcony overlooking the Clearwater Causeway, a VIP lounge, and a rooftop terrace.
