At about 33 minutes of this video, John Perry Barlow (joined on stage by Bob Weir and Trixie Garcia and... who's the other person?) tells the story of The White House calling him to ask if Jerry Garcia will want to plant a tree with George H.W. Bush. Mentions The WELL, but not by name. Tells of Jerry Garcia's advocacy to get the US Printing Office to use 100% recycled paper (which was successful). This story is also told in Mother American Night, though I can't remember which chapter.
